Bridgestone had a partnership to raise money for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. However the passive and uninspired retail activation, unlinked to to brand, was causing sluggish and declining donations.

We created the campaign “Drive Great Futures” to localize and personalize the partnership.

Our idea was based on a sadly ironic truth, that many of these kids could not get to their local club, because, with their mostly single parents work responsibilities, they didn’t have transportation to get the club.

So Instead of just asking shoppers to contribute to a fund, our idea was to show them that their contribution would be used to donate vans (with Bridgestone tires ,of course) to drive needy kids to their local B&G Club for after school career training.

The program doubled the amount of donations.

 
 
 
 

At checkout, we reminded shoppers that a simple act of rounding up to the next dollar could literally change the life of a young person i need.
